The Information Systems Audit Associate (ISAA) program provides a practical introduction to how IT audits are performed in real environments. In today’s technology-driven business landscape, organizations depend heavily on secure and well-controlled information systems. This makes the ability to evaluate IT controls, identify risks, and support audit processes a highly valuable skill across industries. ISAA is designed to build exactly this foundation — clear, structured, and hands-on.

Our ISAA Training Program follows a complete audit lifecycle approach, starting from audit planning and risk assessment to control testing and reporting. Participants learn how to assess entity-level controls, system workflows, and IT-related risks, followed by deep-dive sessions into IT General Controls (ITGC) such as access management, change management, incident handling, backups, segregation of duties, and HR lifecycle controls. The program includes practical exercises to identify controls, test their design and operating effectiveness, and document results professionally.

Additionally, learners gain exposure to GRC and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 27701, SOC reporting, and third-party risk assessments — enabling them to understand how IT audit fits into broader governance and regulatory requirements. The course further extends into technical audit areas, including server and Active Directory auditing, firewall and network control reviews, patch management assurance, and application-level evaluations.

The training also covers policy and process audits, including information security policies, data handling procedures, BCP/DR, and log review methodologies. Emerging audit areas like cloud environment assessments, VAPT (penetration test) review, and policy writing are introduced to ensure participants are aligned with modern audit practices and industry expectations.
